Department overview:

The Marketing team is responsible for developing and managing marketing strategy, brand awareness and lead generation activity across all products, regions and functions. This includes the delivery of sales and product support.

Position summary

The Associate Director, Marketing will be responsible developing and executing on marketing plans for the pricing, valuations and reference data businesses within Financial Services. A strong marketing generalist, the individual will contribute to the development, execution and follow up of multi-touch campaigns.

Duties & accountabilities

  • Marketing program development

  • Research and develop marketing campaigns that support the strategic objectives of the business

  • Build relationships and consult with stakeholders across the business to ensure plans are appropriate conceived and targeted

  • Lead generation

  • Segment and target the appropriate audiences in partnership with product, sales and account management

  • Track and report on the performance of all tactics and campaigns using Salesforce dashboards and other metrics and ensure campaigns are optimized and delivering on objectives

  • Content marketing

  • Identify opportunities for strategic content that will deliver on marketing objectives

  • Create, edit and rewrite copy to make it suitable for multiple delivery channels

  • Identify channels and distribution opportunities

  • Manage the development of digital campaign assets using Eloqua, Pardot and other tools

  • Events

  • Create and manage event plans and budgets in support of the overall marketing plan

  • Execute on those plans in partnership with the event management team and other marketing staff

  • Proactively partner with internal cross functional teams and outside vendors including marketing operations, creative services, central events, and social media.

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms ( and Eloqua preferred)

Education and experience

Knowledge of the financial services industry preferred
7+ years of experience with a BA, BS or equivalent

Outstanding written and spoken English

Commercial awareness

Good understanding of global financial markets, current issues and competitive landscape

VIEW JOBS 12/1/2018 8:52:52 PM 2019-03-01T20:52 <p><strong>Position Description:</strong> The Director of Programs and Development will be responsible for the operational success of NMCIR’s program delivery, quality control and program evaluation and fundraising efforts which include grant writing, grant reporting, annual appeals and event planning. Working with programmatic staff, the position will establish objective performance standards, program dashboards, coordinate training and development. With the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. S/he will work closely with all staff and management of NMCIR. The Director of Programs and Development requires self-confidence, initiative, and an open-minded outlook with a desire to constantly grow and learn. S/he will partner closely with the Executive Director to chart NMCIR’s future growth and strategic response to an ever-increasing demand for the organization’s services. S/he must be very good at working in a team and independently. S/he must demonstrate a passionate commitment to providing high quality management and oversight for NMCIR.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: </strong></p> <p><strong>Program Management</strong></p> <p>1. Manage and oversee the implementation of programmatic deliverables as indicated by government contracts and foundation grants.</p> <p>2. Coordinate across the team to ensure adherence to budgets and project timelines.</p> <p>3. Create and maintain program dashboard.</p> <p>4. Work with program staff on database input for programmatic reporting.</p> <p>5. Prepare periodic reports for Executive Director and management team.</p> <p>6. Instill a sense of accountability among team members through oversight of individual and organization’s performance standards.</p> <p>7. Develop and implement strategies that will maximize the synergies among program areas.</p> <p>8. Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned programs, including administrative and personnel matters; assist with recruitment of program staff.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Fundraising and Development </strong></p> <p>1. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, contractors and allies critical to the organization’s success.</p> <p>2. Support Executive Director in efforts to cultivate corporate, foundation and individual giving.</p> <p>3. Support the Executive Director and take leadership as appropriate in the identification of new opportunities and development of funding proposals.</p> <p>4. Write and submit foundations proposals, government contracts and reports.</p> <p>5. Secure and manage funding to support project development and implementation.</p> <p>6. Produce budgets for grant and Request for Proposal applications.</p> <p>7. Work with Director of Finance and Administration on preparing detailed budgets for grant proposals, renewals and budget modifications as needed.</p> <p>8. Oversee management of donor database.</p> <p>9. Assist in planning for fundraising initiatives such as annual gala and smaller events.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Strategic Planning</strong></p> <p>1. Provide analytical and logistical support to Executive Director on organizational development.</p> <p>2. Drive initiatives with the management team and organization that contribute to long-term operational excellence.</p> <p>3. Identify best practices and improve internal systems with an eye toward future needs and budget realities.</p> <p>4. Help revise and finalize annual programmatic strategy.</p> <p>5. Support coordination of board meetings and retreats.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Operations/Administrative</strong></p> <p>1. Draft and monitor consultant/subcontractor contracts.</p> <p>2. Support in the preparation of materials for Board meetings.</p> <p>3. Work with Director of Finance and Administration on programmatic audits.</p> <p>4. Collaboratively create and monitor all documents prepared in response to audits from funders or other regulatory agencies.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>NMCIR is seeking candidates who have 5-7 years of experience working at a managerial level in a non-profit setting.
