Sentara is currently hiring MRI Technologist

Positions available at Sentara Louise Obici Hospital, Sentara Advanced Imaging Center Belleharbour and at the Advanced Imaging Center Sentara Leigh Hospital!

Full time, Part time and Flexi roles are available in a variety of shifts!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements and preferred qualifications-

WHO SENTARA IS

  • Performing MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers.

  • Maintaining adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

  • Explaining examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.

  • 1 year experience in a Rad Tech position to include Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography or Ultrasound preferred.

  • Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of 24 month program in radiologic technology required in lieu of experience.

  • Six months MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred.

  • Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions). CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT eligibility is required.

Job Summary
