MRI Technologist

Job Overview As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare field by operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images. Your expertise will aid in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. Duties

• Perform MRI scans on patients following proper protocols

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

• Maintain and operate MRI equipment efficiently

• Collaborate with radiologists to analyze images and provide accurate reports

• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during scans

• Keep detailed records of procedures and patient information Experience

• Ability to maintain aseptic technique standards during procedures

• Proficiency in anatomy and physiology knowledge

• Familiarity with sonography, CT scans, and medical imaging techniques

• Understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes

• Knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals

• Knowledge of FDA safety standards, cardiac pacemakers, and other contraindicated items upon entering the magnetic field. Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

• Certification in MRI Technology

• Proficiency in medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

• Experience with CT, DEXA scan, and Sonography
