Roles & Responsibilities:
The MRI Tech performs MRI, radiographic and special procedures at level not requiring supervision of technical detail, performing a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative. The MRI Tech must be able to assists in specialty areas (i.e.
OR, Invasive.) The relatively significant population served includes infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedures. Secondary duties include all radiology procedures(including going to the OR), clerical duties, receptionist, answering the telephone, scheduling patients, transportation of patients, working in file room , available for "ON CALL", ordering supplies, stocking the department., maintaining filings, and general cleaning. Assists in the collection of data for COI monitors.

Education Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers.
Experience Previous experience as a MRI Tech preferred
Certifications/Licensure ARRT Certification; Current state licensure or permit to practice medical imagining; Current Certification in Basic Life Support
Physical Demands/Working Conditions Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
