UCan do all this and more at UCLA Health. You will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology.

You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:

Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations Perform accurate image archival Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Licenses ARRT, CRT - required. MR certificate required OR ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) - required Venipuncture certificate - required BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required AA or BS - preferred At least 1 year of MRI experience - preferred Siemens experience - preferred Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies Ability to identify contraindications for exams Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes) Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
