Coordinates and performs a wide variety of MRI procedures to provide data for use in treatment and diagnosis of injury and/or disease.
Assists the radiologists and medical staff with procedures.
Participates in the training of new personnel and in performance improvement programs. Participates in patient and family education.
Observes patients and notifies appropriate personnel of significant changes/incidents. Starts IVs/INTs for contrast delivery.
Registered Radiologic Technologist with advanced certification in MRI, ARRT (R)(MR). One (1) year of MRI experience preferred.
Experience with biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures.
Working knowledge of image processing, reconstruction and PACS.
Working knowledge of contrast administration, reactions and delivery methods.
Knowledge and use of proper methods of medical documentation.
Knowledge and use of standard procedures in the MRI department. Clinically and operationally competent in MRI Modality
Current BLS CPR certification.
