JOB SUMMARY:

Promotes quality patient care through the performance of diagnostic MRI utilizing appropriate technique, established protocols, physician directions, and age specific guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of MRI safety, contrast agents, injector systems, MRI equipment, supplies, and quality assurance guidelines and applies such knowledge in day to day performance of duties.

Hours of operation: 24 hours/7 days

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

WORK EXPERIENCE:

One year experience in MR imaging.

LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION:

Current BCLS certification.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

Graduate from an approved/accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.

SKILLS:

  • Technical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills relevant to area in order to effectively communicate with physicians, health team members, patients and families.

  • Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision, in order to independently carry out the duties of the position.

  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Additional languages preferred.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

Job Summary Position is for post-graduate training in a structured pharmacy residency program under the supervision of clinical pharmacists and pharmacy staff. Through the training program, the incumbent provides clinical services to patients and professional staff; interacts with medical staff on drug utilization and cost containment; and provides pharmacy distribution services to patients.Job Description Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy. Must be eligible and obtain licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas within 90 days of residency start date. Knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices. Pharmacy Sterile Product certification through an in-house program or other accredited program preferred.
