MRI Technologist - PRN/Per Diem Opportunity
Largo Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited, 425-bed statutory teaching hospital serving the community from three campuses. Largo Medical Center is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) with an ARRT credential on a PRN/per diem basis. This MRI Tech role requires flexible availability to cover various shifts on weekdays and weekends and assigned on-call at all Largo Medical Center locations. ARRT (MR), Florida CRT and BLS required.
The MRI Technologist consistently performs high-quality diagnostic MRI procedures. This is inclusive of room preparation, equipment operation, and physician assistance during imaging procedures, film development and image manipulation. Secondary duties include patient transportation, clerical/receptionist responsibilities, file room duties, stocking supplies, procedure room cleanliness, and participating in quality improvement activities.

Must have current ARRT (MR)
Valid Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
