This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:* · Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders* · Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed* · Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations* · Perform accurate image archival* · Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media* · Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient * This posting is for 2 open positions*Salary Range: $49.73 - $65.56 HourlyJob QualificationsPress space or enter keys to toggle section visibility* · Licenses* o ARRT, CRT - required. o ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) - required* · Venipuncture certificate - required* · BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required* · Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required* · AA or BS - preferred · Siemens experience - preferred* · Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies* · Ability to identify contraindications for exams* · Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills* · Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)* · Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology*
