Responsibilities

• Perform quality MRI scans and radiology while applying radiation and magnetic field safety measures.

• Must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and performing safe, timely, and accurate procedures.

• Must remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills.

• Use independent, professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking.

• Work under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology.

• Will also cover and support CT and Radiology exams

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current national certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.)

• Must hold or obtain current licensure as RT(R)(MR) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist within one year of hire

• Must have BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree

• One (1) year previous MRI experience
