MRI Tech (Prn)

Summary

The MRI Tech using high technical skills, will perform all MRI scans, routine and non-routine on infants, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The MRI tech also conducts all pre and post activities associated with each exam.

This role is on call for night shift (competitive night & PRN differential rates!) - 8p - 6a on call, 3 nights per week. $10p/h pager calls

Responsibilities

Ideal candidates have a strong skillsket in MR Scanning, patient care, team work, organizational skills, and MRI safety rules & regulations

Requirements

• Must possess a degree in Radiologic Technology

• 1 year experience in MRI imaging preferred

• Must be a Registered Technologist with appropriate experience in managing patient care needs

• License Requirements: must be licensed technologist in the State of Maryland

• Certification Requirements: ARRT & CPR required. MRI Preferred

● Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

such action.

● Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians,

customers, and the general public.

● Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

● Must be able to multtask

● Must be able to deal with frequent interruptions
