We have a full-time position for a Sales Representative in Atlanta, Georgia (preferred). They will service the entire SE USA region.
The MPA Sales Representative is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding established sales goals and targets to increase revenue and profit for the company. This includes our disaster recovery contracts (annual) as well as modular building solutions for temporary and permanent buildings, focusing on the needs of financial institutions (banking).
The ideal candidate will have sales experience in modular buildings, disaster recovery and/or selling various solutions to financial institutions and be a self-starter with proven success in securing new business. They must be motivated, confident and a relationship builder, and thrive on connecting with the industry and customers we serve. There is an unlimited amount of opportunity in both disaster recovery and modular space solutions for financial institutions, and commission is uncapped.
Duties and responsibilities:
Identify, call on and build strong relationships with key Bankers and banking associations to present MPA's value proposition;
Actively research, identify and nurture new business through various channels, including scanning industry journals or reports, networking, cold calls, etc. meet or exceed sales targets;
Attend sales meetings with customers to gather information
Prepare and present proposals for our product offering
Lead negotiations and closing of service contracts, in collaboration with the operations and major Projects team;
Build and demonstrate product knowledge of MPA Systems products and key competitive product lines in order to effectively position products. Demonstrate product knowledge to provide technical sales and service support to customers within the territory (Eastern USA);
Respond, evaluate, document and resolve all product inquiries and issues in a timely manner;
Obtain proper approval for sales and rental contracts;
Prepare quotations and contracts that are competitive and satisfy the client's requirements, while adhering to the Company's pricing, credit, and payment policies;
Compile and provide timely communication on competitive activities, market conditions, and competitor activities;
Track and communicate sales and rentals relative to target to Branch Manager, including maintaining up-to-date profiles of key customers, sales and rental contract documentation within Salesforce CRM;
Completing daily sales paperwork, contract documentation, and maintaining proper files on all leads and projects;
Maintain on-going communication with customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints;
Follow up on collection of payment from customers;
Manage, track and submit operational and business development expenditures to Branch Manager in a timely fashion;
Attend, participate in and promote Black Diamond Group products at, local trade shows and industry and customer events ensuring key influencers are informed about BOXX Modular product offerings;
Other duties as required.
Completion of post-secondary school, with a preferred specialization in Sales and Marketing is preferred;
Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience within modular buildings, disaster recovery and/or banking
Rental sales experience a strong asset;
Strong full cycle sales development skills (deals can range from 1 week to 1 year in duration);
Proven success with making sales and relationship building;
Thrives in a growing, changing, and dynamic work environment;
Strong communication skills;
Demonstrate proactivity, flexibility, business acumen, and self-direction;
Technical competency and proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM software (Salesforce);
Valid driver's license;
Ability to pass both pre-employment and random drug & alcohol tests on demand;
Ability to pass pre-employment criminal records check.
