• This will be a fully remote, temporary role scheduled to last 6-9 months

Role Summary

This Server Support Engineer role has a specific focus on secure managed file transfer (MFT) setup, administration, and configuration. Specifically, very acquainted with SFTP network protocol and Progress MOVEit and familiar, but not required, with NDM/IBM Connect Direct (IBM Sterling File Gateway).

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Support IT production and non-production infrastructure that includes servers, operating systems, active directory services, application load balancers, certificate management, file clustering, and troubleshooting and resolving reported P1 - P3 incidents

• Collaborate with internal and external colleagues and partners in the UK, India, and USA

• Provide technical support on MOVEit and other software deployed

• Administer the MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation File Transfer solution from Progress

• Serve as a SME for the MOVEit Transfer and Automation products

• Ensure the availability of all MOVEit environments

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:

• Microsoft Server Operating Systems - Windows 2012 - 2019 (extensive experience)

• Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, SCOM, SCCM administration experience

• Exposure with PowerShell and automation

• Virtual Infrastructure in Hyper-V, VMware experience

• New Relic monitoring familiarity or experience desired

• Veeam Data Backup knowledge is desired

• Vulnerability and patching management using Qualys and SCCM

• SSL certificate management and renewal experience

• F5 (BIGIP) and/or Kemp application load balancer experience

• Microsoft SQL Server exposure

• Troubleshooting website related issues (IIS)

• Progress (IPswitch) SFTP Move IT setup and administration

• MCSE or relevant Microsoft certifications

• ITIL v3 Foundation certification

Compensation

• $50.00-75.00 per hour
