Job Title: Medical Assistant I

The Offsite Medical Assistant I Provides clinical office support to Physicians & Surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant certificate program from an approved school or equivalent training and experience; preferred 2 years of Medical Assistant experience without the certificate program.

  • Certified as Medical Assistant.

Experience Requirement

  • None but 1-2 years preferred

Job Title: Offsite Office Assistant

Provides entry level support to a manager or supervisor as related to the day to day operations of the office or department. Duties include reception, filing, mail service, photocopying and other duties as required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Answers telephone, screens callers, relays messages and greets visitors.

  • Opens, sorts and prioritizes mail. Picks up and delivers materials as required.

  • Schedules and maintains calendar for meetings and/or appointments.

  • Gathers, assembles and files documents as needed.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Job Title: Offsite Medical Secretary

Provides secretarial and clinical support to supervising physician in an offsite practice setting.

Education Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or High School Diploma/GED plus two years of related experience.

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program if performing clinical duties.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years of related experience.

Licensing and Certification Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant required if performing Medical Assistant duties
  • BLS from AHA if performing Medical Assistant duties
