JOB OVERVIEW:

The Social Media Specialist will create and execute social content on behalf of MotoSport.com and its auxiliary brands that resonate with MotoSport customers. This role will maintain the current brand voice and style and look to improve the social customer experience. The Social Media Specialist will be able to dynamically react to changes in the industry as needed to meet traffic, engagement, conversion, and revenue goals by working with influencers, athletes, and stakeholders to support brands while tracking performance and implementing performance marketing campaign strategies. Social platforms include but are not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and any new Social Media platforms that gain in popularity. This role will work closely with the Content Manager, creative and brand team to ensure that a cohesive social media strategy is successfully achieved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute the social strategy on behalf of MotoSport.com. This includes TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube and other trending social platforms

  • Will create content that resonates with enthusiasts on the social platforms

  • Overseeing posts on all platforms which includes managing comments and engaging with followers

  • Ensuring outside brands deliverables are met

  • Maintain a social calendar for scheduling posts

  • Promote and spread awareness of our in-house-owned brands, including meeting established goals for the number of followers, engagement, conversion, and revenue

  • Achieve monthly/yearly goals regarding social analytics and business analytics

  • Work closely with the paid social team to ensure our brand image is consistent both in the organic channel and the paid channel

  • Work with brand team to produce content for organic and campaign specific posts

  • Research, evaluate, and implement (as approved) necessary tools and/or software to support social channels, including a platform to integrate shoppable content

  • Evaluate new social platforms and partnership opportunities and make a recommendation based on company and team initiatives

  • Develop, present, and execute new way to engage with social audience

  • The position may involve working outside normal office hours in order to coordinate live content on evenings, weekends and holidays

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 3 years of experience in social media, customer solutions, public relations or communications

  • This position requires strong social media skills as well as basic training in/understanding of public relations

  • Powersport experience

  • Top-notch written and verbal communication

  • Must be adept with Google Collaboration Apps, Microsoft Office Suite, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, YouTube, Steller, and other social media channels

  • Must understand and be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate a willingness to provide the best possible customer experience

  • This position demands a great deal of strategic thinking and organizational skills as well as the ability to create compelling, original, and exciting content #LI-SE1 #BMP
