The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development Center (PDC) located in Wauwatosa, WI is home to the mantra You dream it. We build it. Join our team as a Motorcycle Stylist.
Join our team as a Motorcycle Stylist in the Harley-Davidson Styling & Design Studio and deliver legendary designs that connect emotion with our customers while integrating with Product Development functions throughout the process. The major responsibility of the position is to execute designs of new and existing products using Pro-Engineer 3D solids modeling software. The position will support the platform or systems areas designing and developing systems requirements and will support the motorcycle product strategy. The Stylist position will also be coordinating and executing tasks necessary to create and maintain bills of material (BOM), virtual motorcycles and large assemblies, model/unit assembly drawings and engineering configuration vehicles (mock-ups). The incumbent also lead various product development projects and guide the work of others.

Create original and inspirational ideas that leverage the brand and its rich history while making them meaningful to the customer.
Participate as a brand steward by effectively communicating the tenants of Harley-Davidson branded design with all stakeholders.
Conceptualize and communicate design options that acknowledge stakeholder constraints and targets.
Leverage market knowledge and consumer insights to deliver trend-setting products that exceed the needs of the target customer.
A bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field is preferred.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. In addition, they will have demonstrated the following:
Experience with a product design field with an emphasis on transportation related industries is preferred.
Experience creating designs that deliver the business and voice of customer targets in a fresh & innovative way while moving the brand forward.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas and design direction with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrates a working knowledge and application of engineering and manufacturing feasibility criteria relative to the design of motorsports or mobility products
