We are looking for a rare individual: someone who has a core skill creating digital video assets along with solid design skills and the ability to bring new, creative ideas to the table. You will be able to have a meaningful, immediate impact on our business, and should possess a strong design sense while always keeping asset performance top-of-mind.
You're an expert collaborator, customer-focused, and a brand champion ready to improve and iterate. The role requires strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting compelling content that gets results.
What you'll do here
Create a variety of digital video assets/animated GIFs/"cinemagraphs," etc. for various consumer marketing channels quickly, expertly and flawlessly
Develop video assets including editing of existing videos, graphic overlays to stock video, and custom videos based on product screen simulations or custom graphics
Assist with production work, including revising, formatting and resizing assets for use on multiple platforms
Work with other designers to craft assets that are on-brand and assist designers on select projects with basic design tasks
Basic audio editing, effects, and music selection
Conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet marketing objectives and brand standards, optimizing for each channel (e.g. email, web, social media, advertisements, blog etc.)
Contribute to the ideation of concepts consistent with brand and business objectives
Improve display performance by adding light animation to existing banner creative or designing new banner concepts
Work closely with our social media manager on social assets, such as Instagram stories
Create designs that can be tested and measured on their ability to drive conversion while tracking and adopting results
Support the social media manager with uploading photos and tracking performance
Organizing marketing assets and historic work
Bachelor's degree in motion graphics, digital and graphic design, communications or equivalent
2-4 years in video editing and motion graphics design for a consumer brand
Strong experience with digital technology and editing software packages (editing software including After Effects, Final Cut and Sketch)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
Strong portfolio of motion graphics and video editing ability
Possesses knowledge of digital design best practices
Results oriented based on data
Cinematography experience a plus
Good humored and hard working
Real passion for food/dining a plus
