General Summary

The Motion Graphics Designer will assist with the production of short form videos for social media, publicity and marketing initiatives. They will need to include motion graphics and 3D animation to deliver high-quality and innovative content for a wide spectrum of campaigns. This position reports to the Manager of Media Services.

Essential Job Functions

  • Produce motion graphics for animated slates, rotoscoping, motion/camera tracking, typography, keying, etc.

  • Edit videos for social media content, trailers, commercials, interviews, cinematics, b-roll, sizzle reels, etc.

  • Create color grading, sound design and mixing, encoding, mastering, archiving, etc. for post-production.

  • Contribute to the creative development of projects from storyboarding to creative brainstorming.

  • Responsible for transforming creative ideas and concepts into dynamic visual content.

  • Work with art and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.

  • Work with Media Services on research, rights clearance, gathering footage, music and other assets from internal and external sources for use in projects.

  • Research and implement best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in film, video, TV, and social media (additional background in set production, multimedia video, or TV VFX is a plus).

  • Knowledge of photography, videography, digital video editing, compositing and motion graphic design software, hardware and techniques.

  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience with Motion, Maya and other VFX or 3D software is a plus.

  • Strong eye for detail, style, and storytelling.

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment, and be open to direction.

  • Online portfolio of work is a must.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.

VIEW JOBS 4/1/2019 8:12:57 PM 2019-06-30T20:12 <p>Flux is currently searching for a <strong>Mechanical Designer</strong> to be part of our onsite team located in Hillsboro, OR.  This person will be working with a global A/E-EPCM firm with more than 20 offices around the world and projects in more than 30 countries.</p> <p>The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for detailed phases of industrial facilities system design work on major projects or total design work on projects of smaller or moderate scope.</p> <p><strong>Primary duties and responsibilities:</strong></p>   <ul> <li>Applies standard design techniques and procedures exercising judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to design concepts.</li> <li>Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.</li> <li>Coordinates and directs the work effort of designers on the same project with some responsibility for checking portions of the completed drawings.</li> <li>Prepares addendums and bulletins. Initiates project change orders for submittal to the project manager.</li> <li>Attends construction meetings and produces site observation reports and final punch list.
