Motion Designer/Presentation Specialist

We are hiring for a Full-Time Motion Designer/Presentation Specialist at our downtown campus.

About the Role

In this role you will: Oversees all aspects of assigned motion graphics projects, including design, animation, execution. Be Responsible for concept, design, and execution of presentation support. Prepare presentations in Keynote, PowerPoint for use during corporate meetings and events. Develop the overall presentation template strategy for an assigned portfolio. Work with key senior leadership to support vision, goals, and objectives through design and creative presentations. Translate complex messages into easy to understand visual language, ensuring that the value of the content is understood.

What you will do...

  • Produce highly engaging presentation collateral.

  • Design presentations for company-wide and investor events using company branding guidelines.

  • Stay up to date on presentation techniques and tools and recommend new avenues of development.

  • Assist department manager with project management activities as assigned.

  • Find graphic solutions to complex problems.

  • Responsible for the timely execution of all assigned productions; creating timelines and milestones for deliverables; setting expectations with stakeholders and business partners, and maintaining clear communication channels.

  • Prepare media for use in a variety of channels PPT, Keynote, Social media, live events.

  • Recommend system upgrades and oversee installation as needed.

  • BA in Design, Animation, or related field and at least 2 years of related production experience.

  • Expert knowledge of Keynote and PowerPoint.

  • A comprehensive and thorough understanding of how to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite to develop corporate materials

  • Proficiency using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to make sound creative judgments in relation to corporate marketing objectives.

  • Working knowledge of all aspects of film/video production.

  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to follow through on extensive projects and complete work on time and within budget.

The Assessment and Instructional Design Specialist, English Language Arts will be provided with guidelines and resources to assist in content development and will be involved in refinement of the items and specifications through a rigorous peer review and editing process. The position requires writers with strong editing and workshopping skills who can review the writing of others and accept review of their writing with equanimity. The Assessment and Instructional Design Specialist, English Language Arts must have a thorough understanding of English language arts, grammar, and literature. Preferred candidates will have strong creative and nonfiction writing skills, the ability to read and evaluate critically, skill in writing to specified audiences, the ability to conduct efficient and comprehensive internet research, and experience and comfort in both providing and receiving edits in a collegial manner. This position requires intellectual flexibility and the ability to organize work for both long-term and short-term projects. Additional experience in cross-disciplinary content for social studies, science, math, or Spanish is also valued. * Write grade-level appropriate items and texts in Galileo K-12 Online Bank Builder to measure specific academic standards through online/offline assessment. * Assist in development of item specifications to generate consistent measurement of academic standards. * Collaborate with other content specialists for the purpose of editing and review of items. * Create supplementary online materials (including but not limited to images, short text, diagrams) to assist in measurement of academic standards. * Develop and update appropriate mappings of item specifications to state standards. * Maintain awareness of current state standards, methods, trends and research results in assessment and instruction to develop relevant and effective educational resources. * Communicate with Assessment and Instructional Design Director regarding progress, necessary tools and resources, and issues relating to the efficient and successful development of item banks. * Work safely and keep work area clean and free of any safety hazards. * Adhere to all company personnel guidelines, policies, and procedures. * Performs other duties and attend meetings as may be reasonably requested by management. * Regular and consistent attendance. Required Knowledge: * Extensive knowledge of English language arts particularly in the areas of grammar and conventions, literary analysis, citation, text structure, and organization. * Familiarity with a wide range of novels, poetry, drama, and informational reading. Preferred candidates will be avid readers with a strong classical and contemporary reading experience. * Excellent writing and editing skills. * Strong Windows-based computer and Internet research competencies. Skills/Abilities: * Shows sound judgment, critical thinking and originality in developing written content for assessment. * Organizes tasks and time to align with team priorities. * Demonstrates resourcefulness and creativity. * Learns and applies new skills rapidly and effectively. * Works well in a team environment and communicates effectively with teammates.
