MOT Foreman

The MOT Foreman is responsible, Supervises and maintains traffic within project limits and develops a plan for traffic control They must ensure the job is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The Foreman has a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the crew and themselves, while meeting the daily production targets set by the company. They should possess advanced skills and expertise in all aspects of work, including cost control, scheduling, specifications, and claims management. Additionally, they are responsible for handling various documentation such as timesheets, production reports, labor reports, men-hour reports, and other essential documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Meet with project superintendent to discuss job.

2. Review MOT plan requirements.

3. Check job site for potential problems.

4. Oversee MOT setup and pick up. Check signs.

5. Brief employees on safety and setup

6. Coordinate activities between pavers, mill crew and stripers.

Requirements

• DOT traffic control certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of traffic control experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the construction industry required
