Position Overview: As a Mortuary Transport with The Wilbert Group, your role would involve answering calls from hospitals, funeral homes, and other sources. You would be responsible for commuting to the designated location, receiving human remains, and transporting them in a safe and dignified manner. Compassionate and respectful communication with funeral directors and family members is also part of the job, with training provided to fulfill these responsibilities.

Position Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

• On-call shifts lasting 24 hours.

• Receiving calls, gathering all necessary information, and following through with the required actions.

• Handling human remains with care and dignity.

• Residing in the Denver metro area.

• Possessing a valid driver's license.

• Passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.

• Passing a background check and drug test.

• Ability to work on-call shifts lasting 24 hours.

• Availability to work during night, weekend, and holiday hours.

• Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures with minimal supervision.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be organized.

• Must maintain a professional appearance.

• Capable of performing heavy lifting.
