Job Summary

Manage team within one or more banking operations (e.g. retail, lending) and/or including branch management. Provide high quality service, develop efficient operations and promote sales of products and services.

Manage banking operations, customer relations, sales and services, and as necessary vendor relations. Provide leadership to staff. Direct staff and operational functions of the credit union.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience

Reporting to the Director of External Quality. This position will be responsible for the management of Quality Assurance activities as well as supporting GMP efforts.</p> <p>This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing internal and external quality assurance activities including batch record review/approval and disposition, provide Quality oversight to applicable internal activities, maintain internal documentation processing functions and organizational records management. In addition, the qualified candidate will be expected to support the organization by ensuring conformance to established quality processes and identify gaps in the current quality system, propose viable solutions and contribute to the process for improvement. This position will eventually also function as a QA lead on various project teams. </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure an appropriate, consistent and harmonized approach is standard across internal and external activities.</li> <li>Review and approve manufacturing documentation in support of GMP activities (batch records, analytical data, etc)</li> <li>Facilitate review, revision, and approval activities of documents ensuring both internal and external systems comply with GXP and regulatory requirements</li> <li>Manage and approve validation activities surrounding for computer systems, equipment and Analytical Instrumentation</li> <li>Coordinate and track relevant activity at CMO’s</li> <li>Trend and report QA related metrics (deviations, batch record review, turn-around-times) </li> <li>Interface with business partners and external vendors to ensure Quality Assurance activities are prioritized and completed on time and with a high degree of quality </li> <li>Contribute to the development of new Quality Assurance systems and standards</li> <li>Work collaboratively with technical operations and product development teams to improve quality, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, and provide product support.</li> <li>Assist with other GXP programs and review as needed</li> <li>Write, Review and approve internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documents as a representative of Quality Assurance</li> <li>Maintain and track internal training program</li> <li>Participate in external audits in compliance with internal procedures including CMO’s, CTO’s and supplier audits</li> <li>Support regulatory document review and submissions</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>B.S., in a scientific discipline with 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Pharmaceutical/Biotech GMP environment</li> <li>Proven ability to work independently as well as to collaborate and communicate effectively across levels of the organization and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.</li> <li>Understanding of regulatory guidance on cell and gene therapy products.</li> <li>Knowledge of FDA/EMA/ICH regulations and experience with GMP guidelines</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail, project and time management skills, and the ability to manage people, multiple priorities with aggressive timelines </li> <li>Willingness to learn new things and work independently and with multi-disciplinary teams</li> <li>Understanding of regulatory guidance on cell and gene therapy products.</li> <li>Strong communicator and collaborator who possesses a flexible approach to problem solving and ability to apply risk-based decision making</li> <li>Travel 10% of the time.</li> </ul> Editas Medicine Cambridge MA
