Capital Home Mortgage is a growing company, and we are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team today! As a Mortgage Telemarketer, you will be responsible for all communication with clients after a loan has been conditionally approved and until the closing phase of the mortgage process. The primary function of the Mortgage Telemarketer is to ensure clients are well informed of any questions or outstanding items needed to move a loan to closing.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform inbound and outbound client calls
  • Facilitate client concerns
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Market our companys unique services to clients based on their needs and requirements.
  • Research and stay up to date on market rates and trends to better consult clients.
  • Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
  • High school diploma
  • BS degree in finance, economics, or related field preferred
  • Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Effective listening and verbal/non-verbal communication skills
  • Accountability, adaptability, and motivated mentality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, and work in a competitive and fast-paced environment
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients
  • 1 year of experience in customer support and/or sales role

Requirements

VIEW JOBS 7/28/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-10-26T00:00 Position Title Auditor or Sr Auditor - Mortgage Originations and Consumer Compliance Location Headquarters-Troy, MI Job Summary The Mortgage Originations and Consumer Compliance Senior Auditor will be responsible for executing audit activities, as assigned. This person will ensure that internal controls are in compliance with policies, procedures, agency guidelines, and laws while supervising audits and internal audit staff. This position requires experience in the audit and/or risk management profession. In addition, strong written and oral communication is required in order to effectively undertake sophisticated audits which are material to FSB. Responsible for supervising organizational audits; developing and maintaining positive relationships with auditees; coordinating with FSB Internal Audit leadership and staff; exercising professional auditor judgment; ensuring quality in compliance with regulatory and Institute of Internal Auditors professional guidance (the IPPF); maintains objectivity and independence in forming audit conclusions and reports Areas of expertise will include: Familiarity with the various aspects of the Residential and Consumer Loan Origination Processes. Familiarity of Regulatory Consumer Compliance Laws and Regulations, including experience with Compliance Management, RESPA, TILA, Flood and/or other Consumer impacting regulations. This position will be Hybrid. (50% at our HQ in Troy MI and 50% work from home MI) Job Responsibilities: * Document, review, perform testing, evaluate, and communicate on the organizations systems of internal controls to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, agency guidelines and applicable statutes, and regulatory requirements. * Work with department management and designated employees on audit objectives and manage the audit planning process, including announcement memo, audit scope, and work paper assignments. * Coordinate audit communications throughout the audit, including planning memos, opening meeting, status update meetings, and exit meetings. Perform wrap up activities, including work paper detailed (1st level) review, compiling audit reports and audit finding follow-up. * Researches issues and makes recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly. * Collaborate and leverage resources to maximize audit effectiveness & efficiency and enhance staff development. * Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies. Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree required; field of study preferred is Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. * CIA, CRCM or CFE Certifications Preferred * Minimum of 5 years of experience working in internal audit, bank operations, financial, risk, or similar type of function for Sr Auditor. * Minimum of 3 years of experience working in internal audit, operations, financial, risk, or similar type of function for Auditor. * Financial institution industry experience is highly preferred. * Thorough knowledge of Bank/Corporate operating policies and procedures and Federal and State regulations. * Previous experience working with a public accounting firm is preferred. * Ability to supervise staff, when needed. * Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written & verbal). * Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. * Strong organizational skills. * Requires significant independent thinking - interprets and adapts from established practices. * Travel: 0 - 10% Internal Use Only: Band F for Sr Auditor and Band G for Auditor Flagstar Bank Troy MI
