The Mortgage Servicing Quality Control Administrator is responsible for assistance with the administration of a comprehensive Mortgage Servicing Quality Control ("MSQC") program that meets agency and investor requirements. Responsibilities include performing quality control audits and reporting of mortgage loan servicing activities to ensure compliance with investor servicing and regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

• Help maintain a comprehensive MSQC program which includes loan set-up, escrow administration, insurance, accounting/payment processing, default management, and other compliance matters in accordance with agency and investor requirements.

• Ensure that the Bank's MSQC Plan and Policy are up to date and meets all agency requirements by staying current with the various agency and regulatory changes.

• Participates in the design of QC reviews, scope and sample development and reporting.

• Knowledgeable of Freddie Mac, Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, and Fannie Mae MSQC guidelines and lead efforts to ensure that the Bank meets those requirements.

• Monitor and track new investor and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and maintain MSQC procedures and practices in such a way that limit the impact on operational efficiency and customer experience.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual mortgage serving audits within the time frame and scope assigned.

• Identify defects and communicate MSQC findings to the Mortgage Servicing Department for correction, identification of root cause, and implementation of corrective action to reduce or eliminate future defects.

• Escalate any evidence of fraud and/or misrepresentation to management.

• Track and follow up on MSQC findings as needed.

• Prepare monthly MSQC management reports on findings, recommendations, and corrective action taken.

• Assist with external MSQC Audits with investors and agencies.

• Comply with all laws, regulations, bank policies, and procedures pertaining to mortgage servicing.

• Ensure Bank compliance with all regulatory issues such as Fair Lending, Equal Housing, and Equal Credit laws by maintaining proper procedures.

Requirements and Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or a combination of experience and certifications related to the industry
• 3-5 years of Mortgage Servicing or Mortgage Servicing Quality Control experience required

Once through the initial training period, this position becomes a hybrid position- in office at 310 Leonard and remote at home.
