Mortgage Operations Specialist

Mortgage back-office operations deals with various sub-processes within the Mortgage Originations domain. This position will be responsible for various duties relating to the pre-closing and monitoring of loans prior to closing.

The Pre-close review specialist will always exhibit a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, communicate with processors and closers prior to closing of loans. Must have knowledge of state and federal guidelines to ensure all files are complaint.

Position Hours: 11am - 8pm EST (time may change on business needs)

Duties & Responsibilities:

1.Review loans for Originations, Pre-Funding /Post Funding, Closing functions to ensure that all compliance requirements are met and all information matches/is consistent across all file documents

2.Review file prior to closing for missing initial loan documentation

3.Review file expiration dates to ensure documents are valid at closing

4.Complete Review of Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosures

5.Review of all documents in the closing package including loan specific docs and state specific docs

6.Ensure that the underwriter's conditions have been satisfied.

7.Setting up of Escrow accounts and ensure property titles are clear and the buyer and seller's agreement is fulfilled
