Owners Choice Funding Corporation is a full service mortgage banking corporation licensed in 10 states. It is a wholly owned affiliate of the New York Credit Union Association and its principal business is assisting credit unions in offering competitive mortgage products to its consumer members. The corporation currently services 150 client credit unions, 17,000 consumers and $2B in mortgage loans.

Currently the corporation is seeking individuals that are interested in being part of its professional loan acquisition and processing team. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a team environment and hold a Bachelor or Associate degree or have one plus years of experience in a similar position. Ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the Origination and Underwriting teams to process new loan application packages for home buyers.

VIEW JOBS 5/3/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-08-01T00:00 Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor I Reports to: Retail Lending Manager FLSA Status: Non- Exempt Salary Grade: NE12 Supervisory Responsibility: No SUMMARY: The Mortgage Loan Processor's primary responsibility is to manage the clerical/administrative portions of the residential lending process. Tasks include managing the loan process, collecting additional documentation as required by underwriting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor and/or Trustco Bank's Board of Directors. * Verify all encompass database information against original documents for accuracy. * Perform preliminary review of credit reports. * Coordination of property appraisals and appraisal delivery to customer. * Ordering flood determinations * Generate and send Loan Estimate, Settlement Service Provider's, Home Counseling Providers paperwork. * Tracking receipt of 3-day disclosures. * Run Mavent Compliance Testing. * Preliminary and final review of loan documentation. * Send customer correspondence * Maintain daily pipeline and provide support to all branch personnel and customers. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS: This is a full-time position. Office hours Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm and some Saturdays. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingual skills a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, including but not limited to company policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
