Position: Mortgage Loan Processor II

Physical Location: 1049 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS 39157

Reports To: Mortgage Loan Operations Manager

Working Conditions: Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditions

Job Group Category: Hourly, (Non-Exempt)

Work Hours: Monday

  • Friday, 8:00 a.m.

  • 5:00 p.m. (overtime as needed)

Primary Purpose:

Under general supervision, the Mortgage Loan Processor 1 is to ensure the timely and accurate packaging for submission to underwriting of all mortgage loans originated by Mortgage Loan Officers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Review the mortgage loan application file and assist with input and updating of information in LOS.

Request and/or collect required documentation from borrower(s) or others necessary to complete credit file.

Validate the documents received for each file, verifying the accuracy and completeness of each document.

Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, verified and complies with regulatory, agency and company policies and guidelines.

Collect fees from borrower(s) as required at the appropriate time, i.e. credit report fee, appraisal fee, etc.

Order credit report, appraisal, title, homeowners and flood insurance or other documents and services, as applicable.

Pro-actively communicate file status to borrower(s), Mortgage Loan Officer and other staff as required to ensure excellent customer service and maintain current and accurate pipeline.

Prepare and submit complete file to Underwriting for credit decision in timely manner to ensure closing date is met.

Assist with obtaining any necessary closing conditions and coordinating the loan closing.

Manage a pipeline of loans to meet company standards for quantity, quality, and Best Practice guidelines.

Cancel files as necessary.

Provide training support and guidance to other processors and mortgage staff as necessary.

Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management.

Job Specifications:

Knowledge and experience using a mortgage LOS, MS Word, Excel and email. Imaging experience a plus.

Ability to meet strict time deadlines and work independently.

Detail oriented and able to follow set guidelines.

Knowledge of automated underwriting and agency guidelines including but not limited to FNMA, FHA, VA and USDA.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone.

Minimum 3 years processing and/or mortgage experience required.

The Network Support team is a group of team players that can administer and troubleshoot all aspects of a client's network environment. We are currently seeking a team player with extensive Networking experience. They will be responsible for maintaining shared and customer dedicated infrastructure including but not limited to routers, firewalls, switches, VPNs, load balancing systems, and enterprise wireless. Expected to be able to do the following: Provide network diagrams, incident resolution and problem determination, document methodologies, thorough knowledge of network management, execute hardware and software installations, performance tuning and recovery. Expected to possess, develop and maintain skills in data center design standards, communications technology best practices and security processes. Qualifications Required Experience * 2-3 years of experience supporting or implementing IT infrastructure. * 1+ years of experience supporting networking technologies or related college education. Desired Qualifications/Experience: * Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field, CCENT or similar certification. * 1+ years of experience with configuration and management of advanced networking hardware including routers, switches, voice over IP telephony, load balancers, wireless infrastructure, firewalls and internet proxy devices. * Experience with networking protocols to include advanced routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and switching (Cisco proprietary protocols and network standard protocols including spanning-tree, trucking protocol, MPLS). * Cisco Certifications or experience. * Citrix Certifications or experience. * VMWare Certifications or experience. * Microsoft Certifications (Administrator/Engineer level) or experience. * Leadership and management experience. * EMR/EHR/Practice Management Suites (Greenway, Allscripts, ECW, etc.) or experience.
