Mortgage Loan Officer

Our partner; a financial institution in Plymouth, MI, is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to join their team. This position involves originating residential first mortgages through external referral networks.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional member experiences throughout the mortgage process.
• Develop self-generated referral networks to meet sales goals.
• Complete mortgage applications via various channels.
• Communicate requirements and expectations clearly to members.
• Pull credit reports to assess eligibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential mortgage lending.
• Valid Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration.
• Knowledge of mortgage industry practices and programs.
• Ability to manage referral partnerships and generate leads.
• Sales-oriented and goal-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
• Ability to handle time-sensitive deadlines and stressful situations.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
