Responsible for the sales and marketing of BB&T Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures as well as consistent, effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services, (Integrated Relationship Management), including the qualifying package of services, and insurance products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1.Execute effective mortgage marketing plans to meet or exceed agreed upon mortgage production goals.
2.Maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of BB&T Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, as well as secondary market investor's guidelines utilized by the bank.
3.Adhere to and comply fully with any and all BB&T policies and procedures related to internal and external rules and regulations, particularly those established by State and Federal law.
4.Provide mortgage clients sound mortgage advice based on a full understanding of client needs as well as BB&T Mortgage products and their benefits. (Profiling)
5.Consistently execute on BB&T's referral process (IRM) by introducing mortgage clients to other bank services for cross sell opportunities.
6.Assist Mortgage Loan Administration with client, attorney, or appraiser document follow-up as determined through quality control or post closing review.

Required Skills and Competencies:

1.High School diploma or equivalent education and related training
2.Minimum of one year experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types
3.Good organizational skills

6.Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer applications
7.Ability to provide own transportation to travel as needed
8.Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS acceptable background check

Desired Skills:

1.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related studies
2.Two or more years of experience in residential mortgage lending with solid knowledge of the local market and regulations
3.Completion of elective training curriculum in Mortgage Lending

About the Opportunity This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. * Note- This position may be located in Reading PA, or in Connellsville PA, FirstEnergy Facilities- subject to the hiring managers approval. Equipment Support Technicians in the Field Technical Services and Support [FTS&S] support various electrical testing of equipment across FirstEnergy Territory. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Infrared Thermal, Corona, RF or SF6 imaging of various equipment in substations and circuits. FTS is also responsible for ensuring high functioning revenue meters are performing properly by conducting or assisting with the testing processes of these meters and associated equipment. They conduct other tests for substation construction and maintenance engineering as well as distribution support and transmission engineering. This is an entry level position with multiple career paths that could lead into Specialist, Engineer and Leadership positions for employees that demonstrate high performance and strong work ethic. The successful career candidate will be based in Reading, PA or Connellsville, PA. However, based upon his or her location, the successful candidate will be required to travel extensively including overnight trips. A good portion of the work will be primarily outside on electric line rights-of-way and in electrical substations with exposure to moisture, heat, cold, noise and uneven walking surfaces. This is an operational rather than advisory position. Standardized Summary of Responsibilities: The Equipment Support Technician [EST] must demonstrate a solid commitment to all aspects of workplace safety and adopt & live the FirstEnergy safety culture. Additionally, a successful career candidate for the EST position must have an innate desire and ability to test and analyze company equipment. The EST will be called upon to locate and report any and all trouble that can be detected and evaluated by our infrared, corona, RF or SF6 imaging devices as well as our revenue meter test set and our grid and soil testing equipment. In addition, they will interface with the various Operating Company field forces and work with them to ensure correction of those problems found through testing and analysis that the FTS&S group cannot fix on its own. Depending on level of EST hired, he or she will: * Assist with the coordinate of repair activities with customers, contractors, internal entities and department sections (including contacts beyond normal work hours, as appropriate), and provides status updates when requested. * Identify the materials, equipment, and special tools required to complete approved technical support activities. * Provide reliable day-to-day support to supervision and other employees on assigned activities, taking steps to expedite delivery when necessary and/or practical. * Professionally communicate with customers, contractors, internal entities, and department sections. * Perform repair and tracking activities while solidifying skills, knowledge and maturity in analyzing data and findings. * Provide assistance during emergencies and storm-related activities and travel to various off-site locations as well as FirstEnergy office locations, training facilities and customer sites, when requested. Business Unit Summary of Qualifications: Qualifications at the Assistant Level: * Must have a minimum of a 4yr degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology along with 0-2 years of related job experience. Related work experience is knowledge of troubleshooting, electrical equipment and circuits, following work procedures and best methods and utilizing tools which would be used to perform equipment support activities. * Must have demonstrated experience in interpreting work requests, design drawings, schematics, equipment instruction manuals and procedures to develop accurate work plans. * Must have basic knowledge of the purpose, function, and operating characteristics of equipment and systems, (i.e. substation, overhead lines, underground lines), as well as the ability to learn construction methods, maintenance practices, service practices, standards and procedures. * Must be proficient with PC software applications including Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) along with the ability to learn Industry Software including SAP, CASCADE and power outage reporting system (PowerOn).
