The Mortgage Loan Officer for the Physician Mortgage Program with Laurel Road is responsible for mortgage originations through Laurel Road's referral sources from the medical professional community.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintains or exceeds established Individual loan production metrics from management.

  • Fosters interpersonal skills and assists customers in completing the lending process through our proprietary point of sale processing system.

  • Promotes our brand, by maintaining a professional customer focused approach to obtain the highest possible satisfaction scores.

  • Assists customers as they complete lending related tasks to ensure mortgage compliance and accuracy in processing.

  • Follows and adheres to company origination procedures in detail.

  • Provides guidance to the customer in matching loan program to tailor to customers' needs; where necessary provides education on the product features, pricing and costs.

  • Fosters an environment of continuous improvement, which includes coaching and training less experienced Loan Account Managers.

  • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 4 years of strong production/experience in the mortgage lending industry; private banking MLO experience ideal.

  • Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending requirements, regulations and procedures for loan programs.

  • Ability to provide feedback and coaching to more junior team members in a manner that supports employee development.

  • Must be able to exercise confidentiality.

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to perform all duties accurately.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

  • Basic understanding of business technology including web-based applications and computer use.

  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills at all times.

  • The ability to complete assigned tasks in a paperless technology-based environment.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in working independently within a volume, deadline-based environment.

  • Successfully complete training program for MLS Registration.

  • Maintain mortgage licensure by completing annual continuing education

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 4 years mortgage loan origination experience; private banking MLO experience ideal
  • NMLS
  • College degree preferred but not required

JOB SUMMARY: Specimen Collection Technicians, under the direction of the area supervisor, perform drug screen collection activities in the Patient Service Center (PSC) accurately and on time. May also be required to receive and register patients using electronic or paper requisitions and/or perform phlebotomy in high volume PSC. Maintains a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, urine drug screen specimen collections or phlebotomy following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to customers, employees and the public in general. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Greet customers appropriately. Treat all customers in a courteous manner. 2. Ensures all drug screen specimens and phlebotomy specimens are collected accurately and on time. * Collects specimens according to established procedures. * Responsible for completing chain of custody forms accurately. * Responsible for completing requisitions accurately * Phone employers (clients) to verify test(s) ordered, discuss collection or identification issues, per established procedures. * Package specimens for transport. 3. Maintains required records and documentation. * Reads, understands and complies with departmental policies, protocols and procedures: (i.e. Procedure Manuals, Safety Manual, Compliance Manual, Automobile policies and procedures, Employee Handbook, Quality Assurance Manual). * Maintains all appropriate PSC/Collection logs. * Clerical duties: filing, maintain customer log, fax Medical Review Officer (MRO) documents as required, prepare MRO and employer (client) envelopes for mailing. May require electronic data entry. * Assist with compilation of monthly statistics and data. Submits data on time monthly. * Submits accurate time and travel logs as directed by management and on time. * Submits accurate expense forms, if applicable, on the required day. 4. Demonstrates organizational commitment. * Adheres to departmental and company code of grooming and dress code and lab coat policies, appearing neat and clean at all times. * Reports on time to work, following attendance guidelines. * Answers the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner, by incorporating the company name, self-identification and a helpful statement. * Communicates appropriately with clients, customers, coworkers and the general public. * Keeps information confidential per company and procedural policies. * Communicates all unresolved problems immediately to the appropriate Manager, Supervisor, Group Leader or Phlebotomy Services Rep.
