JOB SUMMARY

The Mortgage Loan Officer will proactively solicit new residential mortgage business and will establish relationships with business line partners within the organization and external partners to generate referral business. The principle responsibility of the Mortgage Loan Officer is to meet with the customer to determine the best product and terms that will ensure success in the mortgage approval process. This will entail generating a complete mortgage application, ensuring appropriate guidelines and procedures are followed, while meeting sales and quality goals and objectives. Decisions regarding documentation required for approval, fees and terms must be clearly communicated and the customer must leave the application process with proper disclosures and a thorough understanding of the steps that will ensue toward that end. S/he will communicate an outgoing and friendly professional demeanor not only to customers but to staff as well.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1 - 3 Years experience in function

  • 1 - 3 Years experience in industry

  • NMLS required

  • Mortgage Loan Officers that qualify the outside sales exemption status, will be required to work a minimum of 8 hours per week outside of their home and work office(s) engaging with new customers and referral partners.

  • Highly motivated and self-starter.

  • Proven and documented record of success in mortgage sales.

  • Well versed in consultative selling; ability to generate new business sales, retain existing business, and to close sales.

  • Knowledge of mortgage products and loan documentation.

  • Must have current and relevant mortgage lending experience, knowledge of FHA, Conventional, MSHDA and non-conforming loans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospects new mortgage lending opportunities and recommend the best mortgage products based on the customer's individual needs.

  • Develops new business through contacts with realtors, builders, banking centers, and other lines of business referrals.

  • Participate in business related development opportunities and community efforts to promote the Bank and generate new business.

  • Works with managers and marketing coordinators to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan on an ongoing basis designed to enhance success, and achieve product goal assigned by the Bank.

  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of products offered by Chemical Bank and its primary

  • Ensure exceptional customer experience by overseeing loan process from origination to close and providing on-going communication to customers and business partners.

We've got the perfect opportunity for you! DK Security is recruiting for the position of Uniform Security Officers in several cities throughout the state of Michigan. You will find the job description listed below. LOCATION: Midland and Surrounding Cities TITLE: Uniform Security Officer REPORTS TO: Regional Supervisor and/or Operations Manager COMPENSATION: * Rate of Pay: $13.30/hour * Mileage Reimbursement: $0.445/mile for any travel which requires you to drive more than 100 miles in a roundtrip. (Example: round trip is 150 miles, you'll be reimbursed for 50 miles). * Benefits: dental, vision, life insurance, group accident, short term disability, and paid medical leave. (Medical insurance is also available for full-time employees only). SCHEDULE: 1st /2nd/3rd Shift Sunday-Saturday 5.5 hour to 12 hour long shifts available! 16-32+ hours per week SCOPE: Uniform Security Officers are responsible for protecting the construction site's building, equipment, grounds, assets, employees, and visitors against criminal activity, vandalism, accidents, and fires, as well as providing outstanding customer service. For these assignments, our Uniform Security Officers will utilize their personal vehicles as a workspace, and will utilize their personal cell phones as a means to report on and off duty for each work shift. JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Must provide excellent customer service when dealing with Clients, Customers, Co-Workers, etc. * Guard posts – this may include outdoor positions, building lobbies or reception areas. * Most locations will be outdoors and will require the Officer to operate out of his/her personal vehicle (at a stationary post). * Will utilize your personal cell phone to make hourly wellness phone calls into the DK Command Center during the overnight shifts. * Conduct hourly foot patrol of interior and exterior to check entrances, doors, windows and vents are locked and secure against break-ins; and take inventory of the equipment on-site. * Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas. * Check for employee and vendor identifications. * Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities. * Must follow site specific post guidelines; including but not limited to: * Will NOT smoke while in uniform or on company/client property. * Will NOT bring a personal weapon onto company/client property. * Will adhere to our Appearance and Grooming standards at all time while on duty. * Will report potentially hazardous conditions and items in need of repair including lighting, plumbing, wet floors, etc. * Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be at least 18 years of age or older. * Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent. * Must be of good moral character and have the ability to pass a criminal background check, with no felony convictions, and no misdemeanor convictions for criminal sexual conduct or related offenses, theft, assault, illegal substances, multiple alcohol related offenses, or crimes of moral turpitude, is required. * Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and annually thereafter; which will test for the use of legal and illegal drugs, including marijuana. * Must have a working cell phone and ability to make hourly wellness calls. * Must have a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to multiple locations. * Must have impeccable grooming (i.e. ability to adhere to our Appearance and Grooming policy). * Must present a friendly, positive, professional image to Clients, employees, supervisors, managers, and the general public. * Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to solve problems and de-escalate situations in a non-confrontational manner.
