We are looking for a great sales leader who loves a challenge and wants to work with a great team. The Mortgage Lending Area Sales Manager is responsible for increasing residential lending production in the Palm Beach area. This Leader will hire, train, manage and maintain relationships with the Sales team while working alongside our Management Team to develop strategy and maximize opportunities and efficiencies to ensure business growth. The Mortgage Lending Area Sales Manager will be responsible to work side by side with his/her team to meet sales target.

This is achieved through increasing loan count and dollar funding. Activities include the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruiting and retaining MLO's that have a book of business following.

  • Actively recruit

  • Validate team member general knowledge

  • Educate team member for increase production

  • Regular strategy meetings for feedback and reassessment

  • Market Seacoast in target area to educate referral sources on who Seacoast is and what we can do

  • Actively participate in the local Board of Realtors

  • Joint calls with MLO's to facilitate ongoing relationships and develop new relationships with referral partners

  • Broker breakfasts

  • Real Estate office presentation

  • Builder presentation

  • One on one realtor meetings

  • Participate in Realtor and Builder events

  • Education seminars

  • Weekly marketing

  • Annual Events

  • Create the Seacoast Buzz

Supervisory Responsibilities

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of mortgage lenders in the assigned region. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Preferable two to four years of college with AA or business degree. More than two years' experience with the subject market. Documented minimum production of $12 Million annually. Two years management experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
