Job Summary:

Minimize bank losses by collecting on delinquent mortgage loans in a manner that is highly professional and compliant with Union Bank, state and federal requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

Make contact with borrowers on delinquent real estate loans and lines of creditusing the Noble Solutions dialer platform. Effectively utilized listening, probing and negotiations skills to obtain the reason for default, identify customer needs and offer alternative solutions to resolve the delinquency.

Utilize skip tracing skills and tools to locate contact information for customers, including research and analysis of account activity, statements and origination documents.

Verify, update and maintain customer demographics, including home address and telephone numbers, business address and telephone number, cellular telephone numbers and other contact numbers.

Accurately document all collection activity. Promptly follow up on customer inquiries.

Receive prompt follow-up when promises to pay are broken or in-depth collection activity is required to effect collection. Typically handles a higher volume workload.

Actively participate in Supervisor led coaching sessions and development planning, including the successful execution of feedback and action plans.

Strive to reach individual, department and company performance goal and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Extensivecollections experience, including working in a fast-paced dialerenvironment.

  • Strongnegotiations, problem solving, analytical and oral and writtencommunication skills are required.

  • Experience inMicrosoft word, excel, Internet Explorer and Noble dialer web basedapplication, along with knowledge of GSE and FHA collections arepreferred.

  • Requires ahigh school diploma, or G.E.D., along with a minimum of 3 to 5 years ofexperience in collections, preferably in Real Estate Securedportfolios.

  • Knowledge ofFDCPA, TCPA and state/federal regulations, along with knowledge ofdepartmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect and transmit consumer product data gathered from designated retail stores as assigned by: * Counting forward reserve inventories * Reconciling purchases (invoices) against inventories * Scanning UPC codes via hand-held device * Collecting display and promotional information * Inputting product price information * Collecting and entering custom survey observational data * Transmitting collected data daily via internet based on the requirements of the collection device * Plan and organize assigned work within CROSSMARK Retail Data Collection by: In-store observation studies * Training updates * Task lists * Store assignments * Newsletters * Occasionally downloading and printing forms * Meet CROSSMARK Retail Data Collection defined standards of work volume, quality, accuracy, cost containment, completeness, and timeliness by: * Complying with travel and mileage standards established by Retail Data Collection * Following management and CROSSMARK expectations on cost containment * Completing assignments and transmitting data according to CROSSMARK's established procedures and deadlines * Submitting time card and expense information in accordance with CROSSMARK's established procedures and schedule * Communicate effectively with management and coworkers by: * Communicating no less than weekly with district management regarding schedules/issues * Checking email daily for operational updates * Returning all phone calls within 1 business day and all emails within 2 business day * Attending all market, team, and other meetings, as required * Advising management of promotional activity changes within retail outlets Responsibilities with Regard to Workers' Compensation Claims - You are responsible for reporting any employment related injury you incur to your direct supervisor as soon as possible following an incident resulting in an injury. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company does maintain the discretion to change the role based on the needs of the business and/or the client.
