Selected employees will be assigned to work out of a Caisse branch within Ontario, based on proximity to their location and the availability of each branch.

As a Mortgage Credit Analyst, you will contribute to activities such as; credit approval, research and analysis that align with the industries best practices in the area of credit risk management. More specifically, you analyze risks, draft various reports or follow-ups and provide support in implementing recommendations. In addition, you ensure sound prioritization of funding requests. You contribute to the preparation and proposal of action plans to help rectify situations encountered in accordance with the guidelines. You will work in a production environment, managing activities and deadlines and have daily performance measures. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Analyze and process mortgage credit requests

  • Carry out research and analysis, and act as a resource person for the submission of solutions and action plans

  • Provide technical support for projects

  • Write technical memos designed to improve the skills and knowledge of our our partners

What you bring to the table

  • College diploma in a related field

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the financial sector

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Proficient speaker, advanced proficiency of both English & French due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

  • Proficiency in the mortgage granting/underwriting process

  • Intermediate knowledge of AFH
