Due to continued organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare seeks qualified candidates for a newly-created 'Mortality Review Nurse Investigator' position based in Indianapolis.

This is a non-clinical nursing role which will be responsible for examining medical, environmental, and various other relevant health factors of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities in relation to their cause of death.

To accomplish your goals, you will need to work collaboratively with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders. The summary of your findings and expert opinion in each case will be memorialized by you in a cogent mortality review report, which in turn you will present formally in a Mortality Review Committee meeting.

As a Mortality Review Nurse Investigator, you will serve a very important role with Liberty Healthcare's statewide program in Indiana by helping people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities realize optimal health care outcomes and receive high quality publicly-funded home and community based services.

You're a good fit for this position if you are licensed in Indiana as a Registered Nurse and have prior experience in a quality assurance, mortality review, or similar role.

Priority consideration will be given to applicants who have knowledge of quality and mortality indicators and/or subject matter expertise in developmental disability nursing.
