About the Opportunity:Site Host at Morganton Point Recreation AreaChattahoochee National ForestMorganton, Georgia FIND Outdoors has an exciting opportunity for a Site Host at Morganton Point Recreation Area in Georgia. The Site Host will focus on providing exceptional experiences for all of our visitors through customer relations and ensuring the safe and attractive operation of all grounds and facilities, with a special focus on sustainability and green practices where appropriate. The successful candidate must have the requisite skills to function in this position and will be held to a high standard for customer service, community relations and will be an ambassador to the FIND Outdoors brand.RESPONSIBLITIES:

Register guest and collect fees. Provide interaction with the public to ensure exceptional experiences at all times.
Act as support to the Site Manager in areas of public contact and security.
Resolution of customer complaints.
Perform routine safety inspections and patrols.
Assists with weekly inspection and reports any safety hazards to the Site Manager.
Perform routine bathroom cleaning daily to FIND standards, identifying hazards, removing graffiti, washing/treating all signage, tables, and boardwalks.
Emptying recycling containers and collecting trash from receptacles and grounds.
Removal of ashes/wood/litter in fire rings.
Rake/clean campsites and other campground facilities and grounds.
Perform any duties required to maintain operational integrity.
Maintaining vehicular access, parking lots, and walkways and ensuring they are free of vegetation and pot holes.
Participation in regular site meetings.
Mowing and/or weed eating responsibilities, as assigned by Manager.
Other related duties as assigned by the Site Manager or COO.

QUALIFICATIONS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively as both part of a team and independently.
Ability to meet the public and communicate effectively both in person and on the telephone, providing information regarding services and/or programs.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously within a strict time frame.
Ability to walk up to 1/2 mile daily and lift twenty (20) lbs.
Ability to move, lift and utilize handheld gas powered grounds keeping equipment.
Ability to see and hear in to order to safely drive a golf cart.
Possess camping trailer or motor home in good condition

Scope of Work & Expectations

In regards to work schedule, the Site Host will:

Be provided a full hook up site in order to live on site, unless hired as day labor.
Work 5 Days per week.
Be available nights and weekends.
Inform the Site Manager in advance of any deviation from the above work schedule.

In regards to the Site, the Site Host will:

Ensure that exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
Register guests and collect fees. Provide information and assistance to visitors.
Clean restrooms to ensure cleanliness and appropriate paper products are available.
Clean campsites and other campground facilities, including but not limited to washing picnic tables, site cleaning, ash removal, trash pickup and general maintenance.
Assist Manager in weekly and periodic inspections to grounds and facilities.
Perform routine maintenance projects and repairs.
Perform security patrols when gates open at 7 am and when gates close (but not locked) at 10 pm. Additional patrols will be added as deemed appropriate.
Mowing, as assigned by manager.
Provide other services as identified by the Forest Service or Chief Operating Officer of FIND.

In regards to Communications, the Site Host will:

Communicate regularly with Site Manager.
Reply to any communications from other FIND staff members.
