The Mopar Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for obtaining relevant data metrics and trends from various areas within the Mopar Supply Chain to support informed decision making. Additionally, they will present data to support process improvement initiatives with a focus on improved customer fill, warehouse operations, and inventory optimization. Lastly, the candidate will be responsible for the generation of daily, weekly, monthly, and 'ad hoc' reports to identify areas of opportunity within the Mopar Supply Operations Group.

The scope of responsibility for this position includes:

  • Extracting service part data from various Mopar systems and data sources using a variety of data management tools and data sources

  • Compiling and formatting data into effective reporting tools

  • Ensuring that the data and reports are created in a timely manner and are available when required

  • Designing reporting processes that will support on-going requirements and maintain historical data integrity

  • Creating professional PowerPoint presentations for the various groups within the Supplier Management team

  • Working closely with the Information Technology group to determine best sources of data and best methods and understand how programs are executing to produce the data that they must then retrieve

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or another applicable discipline

  • Innovative problem-solving skills, and keen process thinking ability

  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel (with proficiency in Excel VBA), and Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Mainframe programming experience and/or aptitude and willingness to learn CA-Easytrieve Plus report writing language

  • Knowledge of materials Supply Chain and Inventory Control concepts and performance indicators

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong mathematical aptitude and analytic skills required

  • Must meet immigration requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior operations or systems support experience in Service Parts Supply Chain or Inventory Planning/Control

  • Prior experience in project planning and management

  • Ability to produce detailed standard operating procedures

  • Experience with AS400 screen navigation

  • Ability to read and execute JCL information in a mainframe environment

  • Ability to learn new FCA analytical tools and apply them in a fast-paced environment that needs data answers

VIEW JOBS 8/30/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-28T00:00 The Mopar Vehicle Protection Product Pricing Manager leads the product team and is responsible for identifying market opportunities for new service contracts and ancillary Finance/Insurance products, developing and refining new and existing products and pricing, completing competitive benchmarking, and offering strong support of the marketing and sales efforts. Pricing is a key responsibility of this role, so knowledge of pricing methodologies and predictive modeling, including financial earnings curves and the anticipated frequency and severity of claims, is important. The position requires an understanding of dealership operations, as well as a general understanding of revenue/claim business models. A basic understanding of federal and state laws and regulations that govern service contracts and protection products is desirable. Prior product development or actuarial experience is desirable but not a requirement. A successful candidate will be innovative and creative and will have strong math skills, as well as the capacity to think abstractly and work collaboratively across internal stakeholders, external vendors, and the dealer network.
