Monitor Tech Full Time Nights

Up to $5,000 Sign On Bonus available based on experience

Summary

The Monitor Tech is directly responsible for monitoring, documenting and reporting of ECG rate and rhythms of each patient on the Telemetry unit or patients being monitored "off-site". The Monitor Tech is directly responsible to notify the appropriate license staff member regarding the current cardiac rhythm and significant cardiac rhythm changes of each monitoring patient.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED

• Nursing Assistant Certification preferred

• Registry with TDH preferred

• Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course (within 3 months of hire)

• Current BLS for health care providers

• Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills. Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment.

• Competent skills in WordPerfect and Windows
