Position Description:

The Momentum Data Architect SME will help to translate a wide array of customer requirements into report designs that can be developed by report developers. The person in this role will understand how to "see beyond" the specifics of the requirements to distill the business need. A successful candidate will be comfortable working with a wide array of users and be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications for reports. The data architect provides a standard common business vocabulary, expresses strategic data requirements, outlines high level integrated designs and aligns with enterprise strategy and related business architecture.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Data architect is expected to translate report requirements into technical specification; establish report design and development standards; inform data extract decisions; create models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture; create diagrams showing key data entities; and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.

  • Advanced level SQL

  • Experience with the CGI Federal Momentum data model.

  • Ability to adapt to complex client environment.

  • Comfortable defining customer requirements and translating to report or query designs

  • Experience in Data Modeling and Database Architecture.

  • Experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning.

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

  • Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
