NIGHT (United States of America)
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
This position is responsible for inventorying, testing, mixing and delivery of materials to the Molding department. Responsible to ensure that labeling of materials is accurate and conforms to the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practice. Trains and mentors other Molding Material Handlers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
1.Trains and mentors other Molding Material Handlers.
2.Works with Engineering for process changes/improvements as well as test runs of new materials and work orders with an assigned EPWO.
3.Receives and locates incoming Materials and colorants to inventory locations.
4.Tests materials as needed for UV inhibitors. Responsible for calculations and mixing of materials and colorants.
5.Mixes raw materials and colorants.
6.Ensures that labeling and documentation is accurate, and documentation is traceable.
7.Prepares and stages materials needed for molding schedules.
8.Configures work orders, materials and equipment. Ensures correct material/machine combination.
9.Cleans drying equipment, hoppers, central vacuum, and material inventory areas.
Ensures there is no machine down-time for material and warehouse shortages; informs in advance supervisor/management of potential shortages or risk of machine down time.
Ensures that materials are properly dried per the manufacturing process specification (MPS's) and tables.
Keeps accurate inventory of all materials and performs cycle counts as directed.
Assists with material transfers and coordination.
Places orders for material shortages or upcoming schedules.
Ensures that lot traceability is not compromised.
Performs other duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
Two years of related work experience in molding or manufacturing.
Ability to read, write and understand written instructions.
Ability to follow oral instructions.
Ability to learn about and remember key information about parts, materials and equipment.
Detail oriented.
Demonstrated human relations and effective verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to work overtime is required.
Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
