Mold Service Technician-Plant 5 M-F Day Shift

Job Summary:

Ensures the efficient operation of the plant by maintaining the daily maintenance and service of all production molds and related equipment.

Knowledge | Experience | Skills:

High school diploma or GED. General knowledge of Injection Molding and manufacturing operations, Good communication and Interpersonal Skills. Basic Computer experience and good mechanical aptitude.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing all in machine mold cleaning and greasing.

• Responsible to identify and report issues found with the mold or machine during cleaning.

• Responsible for identifying and repairing leaking water connections or piping when needed.

• Maintain accurate reporting of activities and close work orders in a timely manner.

• Responsible to monitor molds water filters and change as needed.

• Responsible to clean machine platens after molds are removed.

• Responsible for the proper shut down and restart of molding machines pre/post cleaning.

• Identify safety concerns and report as needed.

• Maintain mold cleaning equipment assuring it's in proper working order.

• Assist in Toolroom and mold setup when needed.
