Mold Maker Assistant

Advantage Technical is seeking a Mold Maker Assistant for our client onsite in Bethlehem, PA!

Employment Type: Long-term, temporary contract approx. 12-months with the probability of extension!

Pay Rate: $25-$29 per hour

Location/Shift: 824 Twelfth Ave. Bethlehem, PA - Wednesday-Saturday & Thursday-Saturday 5am-5pm (weeks alternate)

Required:

• Able to communicate in English

• 2 years of mold maintenance experience

• Mold shop apprentice training

• Basic knowledge of molds and mold components.

• High School graduate or equivalent with machine shop courses

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• Follows established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organizations products according to specification and schedules, volume, cost and waste targets or quality standards.

• Operates machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.

• Monitors the quality of output to identify, discard or remanufacture products.

• Troubleshoots problems by contributing to team with input, feedback and/or ideas for improvement.

• Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be collected and analyzed.

• Focus on Plastics processing.

• Higher level job functions may include training peers, assisting in equipment maintenance and leading teams.

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

• Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Follows established procedures and guidelines.

• Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned task.

• May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.

• Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, peers and subordinates.
