Position Overview:

Phillips-Medisize, LLC is seeking a Mold Maintenance Tech to:

Shift: N2

Essential Functions:

  • Replace mold components, make basic ejector pins, remove broken bolt

  • Disassemble/assemble molds, properly clean and lubricate, including bases

  • Drive forklift

Position Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic math, reading and writing

  • Experience in plastic injection molding

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

Lifting Requirements up to 50 pounds

VIEW JOBS 5/22/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-08-20T00:00 Job Description Position Overview: Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Cost Estimator (Analyst) to support new business quoting and on-going customer business. Essential Functions: * Receive, evaluate, and prioritize requests for quotations * Review part databases to determine tool ability and mold ability and provide feedback to the customer * Calculate part weights, cycle time, scrap, and other Injection Molding parameters to establish piece part cost and price, using established machine and labor rates. Recommend appropriate materials for the customer application, as needed. * Work with engineering to determine, cycle times, scrap, and other manufacturing parameters to establish assembly cost and price, using established machine and labor rate, as well as equipment/automation. * Use tooling worksheet to calculate tooling costs by estimating hours required to produce a mold in additional to estimating the material costs. * Schedule and lead Quote Review meetings after all quotations are proofed for accuracy, consistency, and conciseness; and prior to issuance to the customer * Function as the subject matter expert in costing estimating and pricing proposal development, with deep understanding of the cost estimating model and knowledge in development of machine, labor, and floor space rates * Extended travel to other facilities may be required to support business need Position Qualifications Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Finance/Accounting or equivalent education/experience * 5+ years of technical experience in the injection molding industry with good working knowledge of tooling and process manufacturing Skills and Abilities: * Ability to represent the facility in a competent and professional manner with all people, especially external customers * Understanding of polymer processing, common secondary operations, and assembly methods * Working knowledge of engineering and manufacturing economics * Sound general understanding of business finance * Excellent skills in verbal communication, written documentation, and proposal development * Must be able to accurately and efficiently use CAD systems for file transfers, viewing and analysis This position does not qualify for VISA sponsorship Molex New Richmond WI
