The Customs and Border Protection's Border Enforcement Management Systems Directorate (BEMSD) plans to obtain greater integration, automation, innovation, cost savings, and efficiencies within its portfolio of applications using Agile-based methodologies, integrated testing, and transformative processes to support current and future requirements through their Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology (IT) (BEAGLE) requirement. CACI is looking for several Enterprise Architects with enterprise architecture, software engineering, business process modeling, data engineering, and infrastructure engineering to support application portfolios within the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as part of CACI's Agile Solution Factory (ASF).
In this role, they will have the opportunity to develop IT strategies, roadmaps, architectural products, systems and deliverables for the enterprise and operational lines of business. They will advise on the enterprise business, Information, and technology direction for all phases of programs from inception to completion. They will plan transformations across and within application portfolios and advocate technological application programs to achieve long-range objectives. They should also have a working knowledge common, multi-tiered application architectures and legacy modernization approaches.
What you'll get to do:
Evolve BEAGLE vision by delivering a rigorous approach to IT Enterprise Architecture across the program
Support and strengthen BEMSD's governance, federal enterprise architecture, and cloud migration frameworks
Align standards, frameworks and security with the overall business and technology strategy
Analyze the Programs "As Is" business, Information, and technology environment, "To Be" specifications, and Portfolio alignment.
Evaluate BEMSD portfolios and collaboration on Portfolio alignment and application dispositions.
Provide leadership in building and managing a network of resources to accelerate BEMSD and CBP/DHS mission capabilities.
Collaborate with end user facing teams to define technology migration strategies and approaches
Proficiency in strategic planning, enterprise architecture and emerging technologies
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to:
o 3-year check for felony convictions
o 1-year check for illegal drug use
o 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
7+ years of IT experience related to the role
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
Experience with the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (will consider DoDAF, TOGAF experience)
Experience with Business, Software, Data, Security, and/or Infrastructure engineering

Creating Strategic IT Roadmaps and briefings
Evaluating technology-based solutions to address challenges and/or improve operations
Preparing and delivering briefings for internal and external customers on enterprise-level topics, solutions, and innovations
Producing architecture artifacts with tools such as PowerPoint or Visio
