Minimum Certificate or Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in the manufacturing industry preferred

  • Associate's degree preferred

  • Eligibility for Career Technical Educator Certification (requirements and level of certification vary based upon applicant's work experience and educational background)

  • Career technical courses in Modern Manufacturing focus on manufacturing materials, production planning and control, maintenance and manufacturing systems/process engineering. Job safety and workforce skills are also emphasized. Applicants must have meaningful work experience in the manufacturing industry and be willing to meet all ALSDE requrements for initial and continued certification. Upon hire, the applicant must be able to train this summer for certification to teach Ready to Work.
