Job Summary

Under the direction of the Site Principal and Director of Special Education, instruct special education students individually and in small groups in accordance with district policies and procedures; develop and implement IEP goals, assess students, and coordinate programs to increase independence and functioning in society, socially, vocationally and academically. Provides an educational program for elementary and middle school age students with a variety of developmental challenges and learning needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid California Special Education ECE Credential to teach students with moderate to severe disabilities or an Education Specialist Mod/Sev with a CLAD credential.

• Appropriate certification for teaching English Language Learners.

• Valid California driver license.

• It is desired that candidates have experience working with children or adolescents with autism and training with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

• Credential Copy (Certificate, CTC printout, etc.)

• Letter of Introduction

• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters must be dated and within one year)

• Resume
