Moderate Disabilities Instructor/Case Manager

Nashoba Valley Technical High School is adding Moderate Disabilities Instructors/Case Managers to our caring and collaborative community of teachers, learners, and leaders.

The preferred candidate will have a masters degree or above, teaching experience, experience and/or interest in serving in a vocational-technical setting, and licensure in Moderate Disabilities 9-12 and an academic core subject.

This teacher position will support a caseload of students with disabilities based on their disability-related needs. Anticipated assignment includes the following:

academic and vocational-technical support
consultation with team members
liaison among students, families, staff, service providers, and adult agencies if applicable
completion of evaluations for special education eligibility
special education progress reports
compile information for and attend IEP team meetings
post-secondary transition planning
update IEP information for IEP proposals
other duties as assigned based on the service delivery needs of students
