Duties & Responsibilities * Identify, gather, review, develop, model, simulate, assess, and analyze red, blue, white, and gray multi-domain (ground, air, space, cyber, other) space superiority-related and space control-related capabilities, operations, and architecture data to provide technical reports and briefing charts to the Government. Develop high fidelity models of assets, platforms, systems, networks, linkages, and architectures across relevant domains, and model the ability to assure national security space missions using Government defined threats, threat vignettes, and scenarios. Recommend analytical constructs for inclusion into the model for Government approval such as the application of game, prospect, temporal graph, behavioral theories, models, other techniques, and analytical tools.-Utilize modeling-, simulation-, and analysis-derived baselines, previously established by the Government or as a result of analyses associated with this TO, to assess the effectiveness of Government defined mitigations. Identify gaps and needs in capabilities and operations across relevant ground, air, space, cyber, and other domains. Formulate, develop, analyze, and recommend requirements to resolve and minimize deficiencies. Collaborate with the Government with the Government providing overall direction, to develop details, methods, best approaches, and recommend solutions (solution paths will be determined by the Government) as problem sets are identified. Perform an analysis of alternatives and coordinate with the Government to develop a series of recommended requirements and detailed instructions for the formats, types, and specifications of requirements recommended. Assess impacts of the defined environments on the functionality of platforms, systems, sub-systems and aspects as defined by the Government for the problem set. Research and develop software, assessment tools, and user interfaces to test with realistic data and document capabilities in technical reports and briefing charts. Identify requirements for additional modeling and testing to reduce uncertainties in assessments of these effects. Research, analyze, identify, and recommend software tools and capabilities for integration to support space course of action development; space situational awareness; orient, decide, act; predictive battlespace awareness; mission folder development; and other space warning and assessment tools for space, space object change of state detection, space scenario generation, space wargaming, as well as new concepts in information storage and management, user interfaces, and displays.-Identify, gather, review, develop, model, simulate, assess, and analyze red, blue, and gray multi-domain (ground, air, space, cyber, other) EMS operations information and related requirements. Develop high fidelity models of assets, platforms, systems, networks, linkages, and architectures across relevant domains, and model the ability to assure national security missions in the face of Government defined threats, threat vignettes, and scenarios. Formulate and develop recommendations for Government approval to integrate, assess, utilize, and assure EMS access for operations planning and use. Research, analyze, and develop recommended methods for EMS employment to include a common EMS data repository. Identify repository components and measurements of EMS that form the basis for building Electromagnetic Operational Environment (EMOE) estimates and executing Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations for space operations. Build technical descriptions of space-related EMS dependent systems to include: transmission, reception, signature, and cross-section characteristics. Model space-related EMS dependent systems to assess the impact of platform upon the EMOE and the impact of the EMOE on the platform. Perform technical analyses and assess the impact of EMOE to operations. Perform space related EMS area assessments, develop physical and environmental area of responsibility descriptions, and gauge patterns of life measurements. Research, analyze, and develop recommended methods for EMS employment (e.g., quantitative and qualitative) with descriptions of the operational roles, limitations, capabilities, and mission effectiveness (both commercial and military for red, blue, and grey) while analyzing blue, red, and gray force capabilities. -Research and identify software and analytical tools for use. Provide recommendations for inclusion of other analytical constructs to include the application of game, prospect, temporal graph, behavioral theories and models, other techniques, models, and visual and analytical tools for potential solutions.
