Under the direction of the Chairman, Art Department, serve as nude model for drawing, painting and sculpture classes; initiate, take, hold and remember specific poses for varying periods of time.

Major ResponsibilitiesEXAMPLE OF DUTIES

:

Pose unclothed for a variety of art classes including drawing, painting and sculpture.

Take and hold a variety of well-designed and visually interesting poses.

Initiate an appropriate pose in conjunction with the instructor's lecture.

Take a series of short poses varying in time from one to ten minutes to enable students to practice capturing quickly the essentials of an action or gesture.

Take and hold a pose without moving for twenty to twenty-five minutes; take a five minute rest and resume the pose; continue for entire class session or as directed.

Remember a pose exactly after rest periods; resume same physical position, angle and facial expression.

Perform related duties as assigned.Qualifications

Knowledge:

Appropriate poses for drawing, painting and sculpture classes.

Basic design principles.

Well-designed and visually interesting poses.

Appearance, coordination and physical capabilities of a model's body.

Skills and Abilities:

Pose in the nude for art classes.

Take and hold a pose without moving for up to twenty minutes.

Remember and resume poses exactly after rest periods.

Initiate appropriate poses in response to instructor's lesson.

Understand the look and capacity of his/her body.

Provide own transportation and maintain complicated appointment schedule at various locations around the city.

Training and Experience:

SUMMARY Responsible for overseeing the catastrophe management function including analysis of catastrophe modeling data, portfolio management, and reporting. Provide training and support to users, as well as suggest, implement, and monitor improved processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Monitors and manages catastrophe underwriting exposure portfolios; * Communicates with underwriters and management all key portfolio movements and statistics in order to maintain portfolio metrics specific to carrier appetites; * Trains and manages team of modelers to keep daily modeling workflow consistent, accurate, and efficient; * Builds business proposals for prospective new carrier partners; * Supports infrastructure changes and improvements as the key point of contact for catastrophe modeling systems; * Conducts monthly data reconciliation between transactional premium bordereau and modeling data; * Evaluates existing catastrophe risk models and recommends improvements; * Works with IT Project Management to integrate RMS & reporting into new platforms such as IMS; * Works with internal and carrier partner actuaries in developing technical catastrophe rates by peril and key risk characteristics to be incorporated into pricing strategies for existing programs as well as new product development; * Designs and automates dashboard tools for monitoring key performance metrics across various program portfolios; * Uses logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems; * Creates ad hoc reports on exposure metrics as requested by program management; * Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information); * Other duties as assigned.
