The Mobility Tech reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Assists patients with mobility and ambulation when the skilled care of rehabilitation professional is not indicated.
Works under the direction and supervision of the charge nurse of the unit and the senior therapist on the rehabilitation team.
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in-writing.
Ability to assess and determine situations requiring an interpreter and to use interpreter services effectively.
Ability to assess and determine when a situation requires intervention from a licensed professional.
